Since our founding in 2012, Bunker Projects has been unwavering in its commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe space for artists and community. In the aftermath of the U.S. presidential election, we recognize that many of our community members feel anxious, uncertain, or frustrated. We want to reassure you that Bunker Projects remains a safe space for all and reaffirm our dedication to our values.

Bunker Projects stands in solidarity with the marginalized, threatened, and disenfranchised by the current political climate. As a nonprofit contemporary arts organization, we are deeply committed to creating a place where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. Our mission is to foster an environment where all individuals—regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, or political beliefs—can come together to create, reflect, and connect through the power of visual art. We strive to foster a space of empowerment, healing, and artistic freedom. Now, more than ever, we recognize the importance of these values as a source of strength and a call to action for our community.

To artists: We believe that creativity can be a tool for resistance and your work is vital. We will continue to champion creative expression that reflects your diverse, multifaceted experiences—which includes speaking out against injustice, inequality, and oppression.

To our community: We are strongly rooted in our neighborhood and our city, and grateful for the closeness and mutuality that the arts community offers. Bunker Projects will always be a space where you are not only welcomed but deeply valued.

We invite you to bring your stories, your ideas, and your vision for a more just and compassionate future into this space, knowing that together, we can build something stronger. To reachout, email bunkerprojectsinfo@gmail.com

In community and commitment,
Bunker Projects
