A variety of ways to give:
" My time at Bunker Projects was transformative. I was able to make huge strides on a new body of work thanks to the time, studio space and community of Bunker and the Pittsburgh art community. Jessie has made the facilities - the bedrooms, the gallery, the studio spaces - so comfortable and homey that I hardly ever left. My residency crossed over with three other artists’ residencies and the thoughtfulness of our pairings was so apparent. The set up of Bunker allows for casual but meaningful conversations and critiques in the central kitchenette. Talking with Maggie-Rose Condit-Summerson, Bridget Gettys and, most of all, Laurie Trok defined by time at Bunker. Laurie and I both bonded over the struggles of solitude we often find in our home studios. It was amazing to have fluid critiques over experimental work with an artist I admire and, now, a new friend. In addition to the other residents, Jessie was so kind to connect us to artists, writers and critics in the Pittsburgh arts community for formal studio visits that pushed my work even further. I truly cannot wait to be back at Bunker."
